I Stand With MSD: Walk for Solidarity

This was a day that I encountered some of the most powerful and impactful people. The strength that I witnessed from the young students in attendance has changed me forever. It wasn't the easiest day to capture, we were all exhausted, emotionally and physically. I could't tell if anyone could stand having one more photo taken of them. So it was important to me that I introduce myself first, and ask. Sometimes that simple step can make a huge difference for those in mourning. It was a short somber walk to Marjory Stoneman Douglas, from the rally held at the park, but I think people were comforted, getting to do it together. For some, it was their very first visit to the memorial site.
